My Learning: Spanish

Hello Bloggers,

Today I will be sharing my learning in class with you. 

Here are some of my phrases and meanings to the Spanish words that I have been learning today.

El es un Hombre

He is a Man

El come manzanas

He eats apples

Ella es un nina

She is a girl

El = he 

Es = is 

Un = a 

Hombre = Man

Ella = She

Una = a

Nina = girl 

Come = eats

Manzanas = apples

Tu = you 

Eres = are

Nino = boy

Recount of Our Rocket Launch

 For our Rocket Launch, The Rocket Blew off but didn't go high It just spun around and the highest was approximately 4 metres because of the weather. 

The rocket worked and flew off the launcher and there were no issues with the equipment. The things that need to improve are our wings and making it work, the rockets didn’t fly up, they just went spinning around.I also think the wings played a role in how the rocket moved through  the air. I think I could improve this by changing the wings and making sure they are more solid and aligned correctly.My next steps are to work on my wing designs to make it more stable and I want to also add a lid because this will hopefully help with the Aerodynamics. I will probably use YouTube to do a bit of research on what makes a good rocket wing.

Summer Learning Journey Warm up: Art work

The Trip to Goat Island

It was in between 6 to 7 in the morning, kids made there way to school to get ready for our goat island trip. when the bus arrived we went into the bus and left.

A few hours later we arrived at goat island, We all settled our selves and got into our groups. My group started off with our bush walk. We walked up the hill and saw the nice view, after we got back it was sour turn to check out the place at the rocks on the shore line. We all jumped around the rocks like kangaroos.

We went more farther out and made it to a shore line with a lot of rocks and we also found some caves. We went to explore the caves but turns out they were just dead ends. At the same place we found a water fall we all stood at the water fall and took some photos.

When its was nearly our turn to snorkel in the water we made our way back to our meeting spot. We sat down and waited and they gave us some adult buddy's to stay with us just in case we need to use the board, when it was our turn we put on our wet suits, our fins and our masks and headed down to the water.

When we got down to the water we slowly made our way into the water and then set off. When we got out deeper we saw a lot of snapper and we also spotted an eagle ray. We swam around for a bit and then made it back to land. 

We got out of the water ran back to our meeting spot and got changed. As we were taking the wet suits off it was really hard it took me a little bit to take it off, They instructed us to soap our wet suits then clean it. We all changed and then we got into the bus getting ready to go back to school. It was SO FUN.
