A River in the Sky

Hello today I have created a google slide on how the Rain forest (Amazon) creates rain.

What I enjoyed was Making the Slide.
What I found interesting was how the clouds collect the tree
chemicals.

Did you know that if you are on google earth you can see the Amazon but when your in space and you look down at the Amazon you will see a bunch of clouds. Because of the 400 Billion geysers????

  1. Awesome slides Minerva. I learnt a lot about trees and I like the way you included diagrams and label to make the information clear. So what do you think will happen if people continue cutting down the trees in the Amazon (deforestation)?

  2. I think that we will lose a lot of oxygen because the Amazon take's up 1/5 of the worlds oxygen. Which will make us lose air if they dont stop. What do you think it will be like if billions of trees from the Amazon will be cut down? What will be the difference in the world?

    1. You're right about the oxygen. I'm also worried about WHY they are cutting down the forest. Apparently it is often to grow crops or raise animals like cows. And these both have lots of problems like animal emissions and loss of biodiversity. What do you think we can actually do about this problem?

  3. I think we should tell whoever cuts down those tree's to stop. Also explain to them how valuable and important it is. I also think we should put up sign's and gates around the entire amazon saying Not to cut down the trees. We also need those tree's standing because those tree's need to make rain to make more plants so we can breath in more oxygen.
