Time Zones

What on earth is Time Zones?

What is Time Zones you say here is a little example of what I see Time Zones from my point of view.

The International Date Line

The International Date line is a line when half the earth is enjoying there bed time and the other half are having a good morning. Did you know the world is divided into 24 time zones some countries fit into 1 and some fit into 3 or more. London is 1 hour before Rome. L.A is a day and a couple of hours behind London and Rome. Sometimes New Zealand is exactly 12 hours ahead of London. Did you also know that if New Zealand is at midday a whole half of the world was set to the same time it would be midday here just after the sun has risen.

Latitude and longitude

Hello, Today I have been writing about what I learnt from latitude and longitude

What I learnt from my blog about latitude and longitude was that when ever you are lost in the middle of no where all you have to do is just say where you are and the location for example (+271 281 82 or -192 093 923) and your friend will type in your location into this site latitude and longitude when your friend spots your location he can find you.

I found it very useful because back then this was how Captain J. Cook charted our island on the world map.

Here is a little bit on how the latitude and longitude site will look like.
